하늘 찌르는 일부 국내 골프장의 갑질 작태(作態)! 이쯤 되면 횡포(橫暴)다.

오직 돈벌이에 혈안, 국세청의 철저한 조사ㆍ관리가 요구되는 국내 일부 골프장의 『갑질 횡포』가 도마 위에 올랐다. 시쳇말로 돈을 긁는 만큼 세금은 정확히 내는지 강도 높은 조사가 시급하다는 지적이다.

여전히 골퍼를 봉으로 여기는 국내 일부 골프장의 『갑질 횡포』, 도대체 그 끝은 어딜까.

연일 폭염이다. 혹서기를 맞아 대다수의 국내골프장은 할인 그린피를 적용하고 있다. 일부 골프장은 2인 플레이까지 허용한다. 심지어 캐디(caddie) 없이 노(NO)캐디 플레이를 허용하는 골프장도 있다.

그런데도 할인은 고사하고 돈벌이만을 고집하는 골프장 짓거리가 눈살을 찌푸리게 하고 있다.

실제 ‘서울에서 가장 가깝다’고 셀프홍보 하는 강남300CC(경기 광주시 묵동ㆍ대표 맹창수)의 경우는 세태를 역행한다는 지적이다.

강남300 CC는 ‘한시적으로 3인 플레이를 허용’한다고 공지했다. 여기까진 좋다. 그런데 대신 ‘1인당 2만원씩, 팀당 6만원의 추가요금’을 징수하듯 요구하고 있다.

이와 관련 강남300CC 총무팀 관계자 K는 “강남300CC는 한시적으로 3인 플레이를 허용하고 있다.”면서 “3인 플레이의 경우 내부 운영세칙에 의해 1인당 2만원, 팀당 6만원의 추가 요금을 받는 것”이라고 말했다.

또 관계자 K는 “우리뿐만 아니라 다른 골프장도 우리와 비슷하게 적용하는 사례가 많다.”면서 “언제부터 이렇게 시행했는지 다시 정확히 확인하겠고 카트비로 12만원을 받은 것은 좀 됐다. 이 역시 확인하고 답을 하겠다.” 라고 덧붙였다. 그리고 더 이상 추가 답변이 없었다.

취재진은 근처에 있는 레이크사이드CC(경기 용인시 처인구)에 확인했다.

레이크사이드CC A관계자는 “3인 이상이면 연중 플레이가 가능하다.”면서 “3인 플레이라도 절대 추가 요금은 없다. 정확히 3인 그린피만 내면 된다.”라고 밝혔다.

또 그는 “전동 카트비는 팀당 10만원”이라면서 “최근 혹서기를 맞아 그린피 할인 행사도 진행 중”이라고 덧붙였다.

또 서 소장은 “이런 골프장의 갑질은 신규 골프장 공급이 확대되면 해결될 수 있지만, 현재 상황으로는 신설 골프장수가 줄어들고 개장이 지연되는 실정”이라면서 “문화체육관광부(이하 문체부) 체육국 스포츠산업과에는 공무원 1~2명. 이마저도 다른 업무를 하면서 골프산업을 담당하는데 이들은 골프장에 대한 인식이 부족한 실정”이라고 덧붙였다.

또한 그는 “골프장을 제대로 관리ㆍ감독하기 위해서는 지자체로 이관된 골프장 관리감독업무를 문체부로 복원하고 골프산업을 전담하는 ‘골프산업과’ 신설이 절실한 상황”이라고 솔루션을 제시했다.

서 소장은 “심지어 코로나19 사태가 발생하면서 그린피를 올려 받으려고 그린피 정가도 사라졌었다.”면서 “이러한 제도적 보완을 위해 문체부가 골프장 홈페이지에 정가를 명시하도록 규정했다.”라고 설명했다.
