Jinggeomdari – To You
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-F9ds3xHts

■ Today’s BGM
Jinggeomdari
“To You”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-F9ds3xHts
Today’s song
was requested by a reader.
Jinggeomdari began as
a singing group at Hanyang University.
Its first generation,
which included Wang Young-eun and Jung Geum-hwa,
won the grand prize at the first TBC Beach Song Festival
with “Summer” in 1978.
The second generation followed
with “To You” in 1980.
Written and composed by Lee Joo-ho
and arranged by Lee Jung-sun,
the song won the bronze prize
at the third TBC Young People’s Song Festival.
The male and female voices
and their harmonies carry
an enduring longing for someone who has left.
Many years have passed,
but the warmth of that longing
has yet to fade.

〈September 9, 2026〉
I opened the front door.
“I’m off.”
In front of the elevator,
I checked my pockets.
My phone was missing.
I went back home.
I grabbed my phone
and closed the front door again.
While waiting for the elevator,
I noticed something else was missing.
I had left my glasses behind.
I went back home
once more.
With my glasses in hand,
I stepped outside again.
This time,
I thought I was finally ready for work.
Only after reaching the parking lot
did I realize
I had forgotten my car keys.
For the third time,
I went back home.
In the song,
I would have been happy
if you had returned just once.
But this morning,
though no one was waiting for me,
I returned home three times.
My mind had already left for work,
but my morning habits were still
wandering around the house.
Today, once again,
you are the main character.
